The Miss Goldsboro Scholarship Pageant is a preliminary to the Miss North Carolina pageant, and is part of the Miss America Organization. The Miss Goldsboro Scholarship Organization promotes young women that exhibit poise, grace, intellect, and great character. Each young lady that participates at the state level receives scholarship money to further her education. The Miss America Organization is one of the nation’s leading achievement programs and the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. This assistance is not just for the handful of young women who become Miss America, but is available to the over 12,000 young women who compete each year in the state and local competitions, such as the Miss Goldsboro pageant.

The pageant is open to ladies age 17 – 23 who reside or work in the following counties: Wayne, Duplin, Greene, Harnett, Johnston, Lenoir, Pitt, Sampson, Wake, and Wilson, Outstanding Teen contestants who are between the ages of 13 – 16 are eligible to compete in any of the 100 counties across the state of North Carolina. The new Miss Goldsboro will represent Goldsboro and Wayne County throughout the year through speaking engagements, community service projects and appearing at events across the county such as the Fremont Daffodil Festival, the Mt. Olive Pickle Festival, Downtown Lights Up, Christmas parades, and many other local events.

Please join us for the most glamorous night of the year as we crown Miss Goldsboro 2020 and Miss Goldsboro Outstanding Teen 2020.
