StageStruck: The Young People’s Own Theatre holds an annual camp for rising 3rd through rising 6th graders. The camp focuses on the fundamentals of acting, including character development, stage presence, improvisation, and storytelling. For two weeks, they’ll also discover how music and dance help bring characters and stories to life through singing, basic choreography, and ensemble performance techniques. Along the way, students will strengthen public speaking skills, creativity, and self-expression in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This year’s camp will perform “Zombies: The Musical.” This story follows Hunter, who is not a bad kid but likes to bully other students and gets a taste of his/her own medicine when he/she returns to school in a dream to find that everyone has become a zombie!
